Cristiano Ronaldo walks out on Portugal after being dropped from starting lineup

Cristiano Ronaldo has departed from Portugal's training camp following head coach Jorge Jesus's announcement that the star forward will not be in the starting eleven for the upcoming match.

The 41-year-old captain had been training alone in the gym since the weekend and was expected to join his teammates for a session at Copenhagen's Parken Stadium on Wednesday. However, he left abruptly after Jesus's press conference. The experienced coach confirmed that Ronaldo, who was an unused substitute in Sunday's match against Norway, would also be benched for Thursday's Nations League fixture against Denmark.
